Here are the slides I’m going to be presenting on Monday during a lunchtime Vendor Relationship Management (VRM) workshop at Customer Service is the New Marketing. Stop by if you’re in the city, won’t you?
Click here to view the slides fullscreen or download them.
Good luck at the event. I’d love to get an overview of this presentation since I can’t make the event.
Thanks for sharing the slide deck!
Chris: based on the conversations, meetings, presentations, etc… What are the conditions for VRM to become a reality? I saw in the slide decks mentions of open standards, documentation, scenarios, etc. Which indeed will be necessary if we want VRM to generate the “ecosystem” opportunity across not only “we the users” but also “we the providers”; however I feel/believe that for VRM to become a reality there will be a need for a resource bearing entity (as in: company/organization) to make it real, available, user friendly and obvious to all of us.
What are the thoughts of the VRM team/group in this space?
Filiberto
hi, filiberto … the VRM group is actually trying to work through that “resource bearing entity” issue right now. the VRM group is currently under the wing of berkman at harvard, and like other past berkman projects (e.g. global voices, etc.), figuring out the right entit(ies) in which to house the concepts long-term is part of the process.
