Is the management process that alingns the rest of management process of the company to implement the strategy correctly in order to provide a customer satisfaction
I do prefer the new (2004) AMA definition that emphasize both transactions and relationships:
“Marketing is an organizational function and a set of processes for creating, communicating and delivering value to customers and for managing customer relationships in ways that benefit the organization and its stakeholders.”
interesting…the AMA definition highlights “delivering value” to customers (in the first sentence), but the “managing of customer relationships” portion of it (second sentence) only focuses on the vendor side.
